Status yellow weather warning in place for the South East tonight

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Weather warning for the South East.

The low temperature/ice warning, which was issued at 2pm today, is in place for the entire country from 6pm this evening until 10am tomorrow morning.

Temperatures will fall to -3C or -4C.

This will lead to a widespread hard ground frost and icy surfaces, with potentially dangerous conditions.
