Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for Munster, Galway, Mayo and Sligo.
The alert comes into effect from 3 PM today and is valid until 3 PM tomorrow [Saturday].
Later today, overnight and into early Saturday with falls of 30 to 50mm expected.
