UPDATE: Status Orange extended across the region.
EARLIER: Met Éireann has issued a status orange snow-ice alert for Wexford and Waterford.
Heavy snow showers will continue today, tonight and during tomorrow for Wexford, Waterford and south Cork with snow accumulations up to 8cm.
The alert is valid from 6 AM until noon tomorrow.

A status orange snow-ice warning remains in place for Carlow.
This warning came into place at 3 PM yesterday and currently remains in place until 11 AM.
There is a status red alert in place for five counties. This came into effect at 5 AM and is valid until 12 noon tomorrow.
