Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange rain warning for Waterford, Wexford, Cork, Kerry and Wicklow
Heavy rain is expected on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Wednesday night and is valid from tonight until tomorrow night, which could lead to localised flooding.

A status yellow rain warning has also been issued for Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary.
Spells of heavy rain are forecast across all three counties.

A statement from Met Éireann said: "Heavy rain on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Wednesday night with the possibility of thundery downpours, will lead to localised flooding. Disruption is likely."
A warning is also in place for Small Craft on all coasts of Ireland since 6 am this morning,
Winds are southeast to east and forecast to reach force six or higher at times.
The marine warning will remain in place until 6 am Thursday.
