Stand Up Awareness Week is coming to a close today.
The week-long event has been organised by BelongTo to offer people a chance to show their support for the LGBTI plus community.
It is supported by the Department of Education and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
The anti-LGBTI+ bullying week, now in its 11th year is a time for schools to take a stand against homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying.
It is an is an opportunity for schools to look at how they can make them safe and supportive places for LGBTI plus students, with 73% feeling unsafe at school.
Students and staff nationwide were invited to wear Rainbow masks and jumpers into classrooms today as a sign of solidarity.
Last year, 58% of second-level schools took part in this anti-bullying campaign.
