Staff at Leinster House have been told to keep their office windows closed at night after a fox urinated all over an office at Government buildings.
The Irish Independent reports foxes were feeding on food scraps from skips in an area of the Oireachtas buildings.
The article, written by Ken Foxe, states that exterminators say a 'strong smell' of fox urine was noted on the site.

The Oireachtas spent 65-thousand euro on pest control services between January and mid-November last year according to details released under FOI.
In March, a dead rat was found in the car park while later the same month 'overgrown vegetation' was also discovered in the courtyard.
I think I was the last TD to leave Leinster House last night (1:23 AM) ⏰
Kildare Street and Molesworth Street were entirely empty and unusually quiet.. except for this beautiful fox I spotted out for his/her nighttime stroll.#natureinthecity 🦊 @WildIreland pic.twitter.com/sIrNC0j4d7— Cathal Crowe T.D. (@CathalCroweTD) December 9, 2021
