Flight enthusiasts were left horrified as a shocking incident led to two aircraft colliding at the 'Wings Over Dallas WWII Airshow' at Dallas Executive Airport.
Video footage appears to show a P-63 aircraft approaching a B-17 bomber from behind.
The smaller plane then appears to hit the four-engine bomber in the centre, directly overhead the airfield.

From the footage, the B-17 appears to break apart, with both aircraft tragically hitting the ground in a massive fireball.
Officials say six people have died following the incident in Texas, but no one on the ground is believed to have been hurt.
