Cystic Fibrosis campaigners are pleading with the Government to fund a new Drug.

The medicine, called 'Orkambi' can help suffers of CF and could lead to less hospital visits.

"It would lower the emissions, hospital emissions and it would bring up my lung function.

If he could try to get the price to be a lower price, cos there's so many people in Ireland suffering with cystic fibrosis, it would really help a lot of people."

Her mother, Tina O' Brien  tells Beat News she hopes the Health Minister can find a solution to get 'Orkambi'...

"I'd say to him that you can't put a price on a  life and the life like my daughter to live a long and healthy life.

They have to come to some agreement. It's terrible to think there's a drug available that could help her but she's being denied it.
