Passengers from the South East on the 7.05am and 7.50am trains from Waterford have been advised that there is significant disruption.
A person on the line was struck by a train between Sallins and Newbridge.
Emergency Services are present at the incident.
The 7.05am departing from Plunkett Station in Waterford has already been delayed for well over an hour.
Passengers have been told to “sit tight” and wait for further updates.
