The South East's largest cancer support centre has announced they are expanding to West Waterford.
The Solas Centre are opening a new service at The Alternative Health Clinic at 12 Main Street, Dungarvan on Monday 5th September.
They are also rebranding as the Solas Cancer Support Centre.
Dr Brian Creedon of the Centre says that only 170 of their 2,500 clients are from West Waterford, and are eager to see that number increase.

Based on NCRI stats, 335 people in West Waterford could have a cancer diagnoses every year.
Manager of the centre Tracey McDaid has stressed that the new centre in Dungarvan will be a support service not just for cancer patients, but their friends and family also.
