Drivers heading towards Co. Wexford this evening are being advised to avoid the M11 near Gorey Town in the north of the county.
Gardaí have confirmed that Junction 22 Gorey North and Junction 23 Gorey, Ballycanew, Courtown are both closed Northbound and Southbound on the M11 motorway.
A number of roads in Gorey, County Wexford are impassable this evening due to heavy flooding.
The road from Gorey Town to Ballymoney/Courtown is also closed due severe road conditions as a result of flooding.
Transport Infrastructure Ireland warns the M11 and N11 are flooded north of the town.
Meanwhile, Wexford Bus has advised its stop at Main Street cannot be reached, so it's skipping the town.
It follows scenes this evening of severe flooding on the town's main street.
