Tipperary's John Magnier has topped the South East's rich list and is 6th in Ireland with an estimated wealth of 2.4 billion euros.
The Coolmore stud owner has a number of other businesses outside of the horse racing industry as a major stakeholder in Barchester Healthcare and major pub group Mitchell and Butler.
Among the rich of the South East includes Waterford's Queally Brothers with the Dawn Meats Group, Carlow's David Walsh and Niall Kelly with Netwatch, Kilkenny's Terry Clune with the Tax Back Group and Wexford's Bert Allen following the sale of Slaney foods.
