The missing person appeal in respect of 30 year old Conor Gahan, has been stood down.
Conor went missing from his home in Waterford City last month, on the evening of Monday October 10th.
Gardaí released a statement this evening to say that following the discovery of a man's body earlier today in Waterford, the missing person appeal of Conor Gahan has been stood down.
The Gardaí thanked the public for their assistance and said there was 'no further information is available at this time'.
