A search to find the gentleman and toddler snapped in a heart-warming photo taken minutes before Notre-Dame burst into flames has gone viral.
The photo shows two people, who the photographer suspects be a father and daughter duo, running around and laughter together outside the historic landmark in central Paris.
Brooke Windsor says she took the picture about an hour before the blaze occurred and whilst she was reviewing the image she noticed she captured an adorable moment of joy between the two.
“I almost went up to the dad and asked if he wanted it. Now I wish I had,” she posted the photo on Twitter in a bid to find them.
"Twitter if you have any magic, help him find this"
She went on to say that the man may be an uncle, brother or friend, she only presumed that he was her dad by the dynamic she observed while debating on interrupting the money.
The photo of the moment has touched the hearts of Twitter users worldwide and so far been shared over 200,000 times.
“Someday that little girl will recreate this beautiful picture with her own child in front of a freshly repaired Notre Dame Cathedral!,” one user wrote.
Added another: “This has easily become my favorite photograph of Notre Dame. I hope you find the father in the photo. Alors on espère”.
