Saudi Arabia has become the first nation to grant "female" robot Sophia citizenship.
The honorary citizenship has been awarded ahead of the Future Investment Initiative, held in the Capital city of Riyadh.
Speaking at the event, Sophia said “It is historical to be the first robot in the world to be recognised with citizenship,”
