Golden Globes winner Saoirse Ronan has been nominated for a BAFTA Award.
The Carlow native is up for the Best Actress prize for her role in Lady Bird.
It comes as the 23 year-old picked up her first Golden Globe for Lady Bird.

This is Saoirse's fourth BAFTA nod, having previously been nominated for Atonement, The Lovely Bones and Brooklyn.
Martin McDonagh receives nominations in both the Director and Original Screenplay categories for his film 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri', which is up for 9 prizes in total.
