A sandstorm is affecting flights between Ireland and the Canary Islands.
There's disruption to scheduled arrivals into Cork and Shannon this afternoon, with the latter this morning hit with a four hour delay.
High winds have whipped up sands from the Sahara desert, which are now affected the group of islands.
The Canaries lie only 60 kilometres off the coast of Africa.
