Two road traffic incidents have taken place in Waterford this afternoon, Gardaí have confirmed.
According to the AA, the N25 Waterford/Cork Rd is closed near Carroll’s Cross in Ballyshunnock, where there have been two collisions.
Motorists are being advised to expect significant tailbacks as a result.

The first happened at Kildarmody, near Kilmeaden.
Gardai and emergency services are currently at the scene and a road closure is in place.
The second occurred on the main N25 just outside Carroll's Cross.
Both crashes have been cleared, however, drivers are being advised to avoid the area if possible as traffic is still heavy.
