The main N11 road just north of Ferrycarrig has been closed by Gardaí following a serious road traffic collision this evening.
Beat has contacted Wexford Garda Divisional Headquarters for confirmation and the incident occurred outside the Ferrycarrig hotel.
As of now, injuries are unknown but emergency services have been called to the scene.
As reported by The Independent, the incident involved a collision between a cattle truck and a car.

Traffic is being diverted but extremely heavy at the moment.
