The emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the N25 between Waterford and New Ross.
The incident is believed to have happened outside about a mile outside New Ross on the Waterford side.
The AA says a truck has overturned and Gardai are directing traffic following the incident.
Traffic is impacted in both directions.

Gardai are asking motorists to avoid the area as it will be a number of hours before the road is fully re-opened.
