The RNLI is urging people to be safe when near water.
That's after Wexford RNLI and Rescue 117 had 2 rescues to make over the weekend.
RNLI Volunteer Lifeboat Press Officer Lorraine Galvin has this advice
"The RNLI and the Coastguard want to urge people to take care if they're going on the water or along the coastline during the summer period.
Wear a lifejacket that has been recently serviced.
If you are going to beaches, make sure to chose lifeguarded beaches and swim between the flags.
If you're walking along coastlines, use a recognized route.
Keep dogs on a lead at all times."
