Revenue has published a list of tax defaulters for the third quarter, which includes settlements worth almost €13m.
Sixty-four taxpayers who had to make settlements from July to September this year are on the list.
Thirty-two were for amounts worth more than €100,000, while eight exceeded €500,000.
5 people from the South East were fined by the Revenue Commissioners for Under declaration of Income tax, VAT or PAYE.

While each person's amounts were different, the total between the 5 was €452,000
Elsewhere;
- 2 people were fined for failure to lodge income tax returns.
- One person failed to submit VAT & p35 returns.
- 7 people were fined for misuse of marked mineral oil.
- One person paid 2500 in fines for illegal betting.
- Another person was fined for alcohol smuggling, while 1 man was imprisoned for 5 months for the same offence.
