The figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund cover the month of October this year and show how many patients were waiting on a bed in the region's hospitals.
At St. Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny, 663 were waiting on a bed while in Wexford General Hospital, it was 311.
South Tipperary General Hospital had 235 people waiting while at the region's largest hospital, University Hospital Waterford had 4868 patients waiting on a bed.
Across the country, the figures reached a record high of over half a million people, which is a 27 thousand increase from May, when current Health Minister Simon Harris took office.
The HSE say 88 per cent of all adult patients are treated within the national target of 15 months.
