Starbuck's Waterford branch was subject to a temporary closure order by the Food Safety Authority in Ireland, it has been revealed.
The closure was not related to controversy surrounding the absence of necessary planning permission that arose in September.
The recently opened branch of the American coffee giant closed its doors on September 27th.
An exact explanation behind the temporary food order closure has yet to be revealed.
The branch had since reopened on October 5th and is now operating as normal.
