Motorists are again being warned to make sure their tyres are in good condition.
A Status Yellow rain warning's in place for the southern half of the country until 9 tonight.
That's going to be followed by a cold snap, with the risk of icy roads.
Conor Faughnan of the AA says checking to see your tyres are 'winter ready' is vital.
