Immunologist Professor Luke O'Neill has tested positive for Covid.
The Trinity professor says he is only experiencing "mild symptoms" at the time of writing.
O'Neill noted that the positive diagnosis initially came from a home antigen test, stating that the result showcased "the power of antigen testing."
Speaking on Today with Claire Byrne, Luke O'Neill said "I was amazed, as an immunologist, within two seconds it had moved up the window."

He continued: "The band appeared immediately, whether I was a strong positive or not, it came up very quickly."
