A warning has been issued as Portuguese Man O' War jellyfish have washed up in the region.
They've been spotted on Bunmahon, Clonea and Tramore beaches in Co. Waterford.
Waterford Council posted the following message on Facebook:
WARNING
Portuguese Man O' War jellyfish spotted in Clonea (4th Oct) and Ardmore beach (5th Oct).
Do not approach or touch these jellyfish as their sting can be particularly dangerous and in some cases can be lethal.
