The Food Safety Authority has issued an urgent recall notice for a popular hot chocolate drink.
Three different variations of Nestle's Aero Hot Choc products are reported to possibly contain food-grade silica beads.
The products include Aero Hot Choc jars, sachets and instant cups.
Nestle are asking consumers to dispose of the contents and send the container to Nestle headquarters with their name and address for a full refund.
In a statement from the FSAI, they said; "Nestlé is recalling all batches of three Aero Hot Choc drinks due to the possible presence of small (up to 3mm) food-grade silica beads. Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.
Update 29.11.2022: Name, pack size and image of the Nestlé Aero Hot Choc sachet updated."
