Representatives from 25 countries will take part in the World Ploughing Championships.
The event takes place in Ratheniska, Co Laois, from September 20th to the 22nd.
The event will coincide with the Irish national competitions, which are taking place in public for the first time in three years.
100,000 people will attend every day, and the event will generate €50m for the economy.
Chief organiser Anna-Marie McHugh says the international competitors have already started to arrive in Ireland:
"We've tractors and trailer loads of equipment coming from all over the world."
"At this point in time, the USA, Canadian, New Zealand, Austrian teams are already here starting to prepare."
"We had the finished tractors arrive two days ago, they're just travelling for weeks on end to get here."
