Penneys fans have been left disappointed following an announcement by the retailer that some autumn/winter stock has been delayed.
The discount fashion giant is experiencing ongoing delays on seasonal styles arriving in stores nationwide.
Total inventory will be down €250 million by the end of its financial year.
However, the retailer has moved to reassure concerned customers that "there will be no shortages" in stores for the moment, stating "all stores got this early autumn stock."
The development follows the recent announcement of an additional Penneys store in Ireland.
Penneys will be opening a store at The Square in Tallaght, Dublin.
It will be the retailer's 37th branch in Ireland and is expected to create 300 jobs.
The store will be located on the ground floor of the shopping centre, and will cover 43,000 sq ft.
