A male and female have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Waterford City on Friday.
A man entered Ulster Bank on the Quay at 1.30pm and produced what's believed to be a firearm and threatened staff.
He escaped on foot with a sum of cash and went in the direction of Exchange Street.
The two were arrested yesterday evening and are being held at Waterford Garda Station under section 30.
