A suicide prevention and self-harm plan for South Tipp is being launched today.
"Connecting for Life" is part of the national initiative to prevent suicide 2017-2020.
Minister Helen McEntee will launch the programme in Clonmel at 3 pm.
HSE Resource Officer for Suicide Prevention HSE South is Tracey Nugent said "we used the national goals as our guide and theme throughout the consultation process.
We have developed 53 specific actions in relation to South Tipperary to achieve the ultimate outcome - will be a reduced suicide rate in the whole population in South Tipperary and amongst specified priority groups.
And a reduced rate of presentations of self-harm in the whole population and amongst specified priority groups."
