A 3 million euro smokeless fuel plant is officially opening in the region today.
Stafford Fuel's facility is based in Raheen, New Ross, Co. Wexford.
It will produce low smoke, high heat solid fuels for domestic use.

The plant secures 35 existing jobs and has lead to 6 new positions.
Managing Director Andy Maher said there's potential for more employment growth, "we would hope that as we develop further further jobs will be created,"
