Gardaí have begun a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in Ronanstown.
The man was murdered outside of a house at Harelawn Park at approximately 10 pm yesterday evening.

The gunman is believed to have approached the victim and fired several shots while in the driveway of the property.
The area has since been sealed off and the man's body remains at the scene pending the arrival of the Garda Technical Bureau and State Pathologist.
A Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) has been assigned to lead the investigation from the Incident Room at Lucan Garda Station and a Garda Family Liason Officer (FLO) has been appointed to liaise with the family of the deceased.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and in particular, anyone who was in the vicinity of Harelawn Park between 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm on Monday, 5th December 2022, to come forward.
They are also appealing to those with camera footage and to motorists with dashcam footage from the area at the time to make it available to them.
