Drugs with a street value of more than €765,00 have been seized in Rosslare Europort, in Co Wexford.
38 kilos of herbal cannabis were found with the assistance of the Revenue detector dog, Jasper.
The herb was discovered hidden in spare tyres on board a polish registered lorry that had arrived from France.
A man in his 30s was arrested and is currently in Wexford Garda Station.
This follows a recent seizure of tobacco, beer and wine worth €300,000 at the Europort.
On that occasion, the smuggled items were discovered with the assistance of Revenue’s mobile x-ray scanner, following the search of an Irish registered truck and its accompanying trailer.
