The Minister for Education & Skills, Richard Bruton is in Wexford today for a series of events.
Earlier on today, the Minister officially opened the new extension at Colaiste Abbain Secondary School
He'll also attend the opening of the Enniscorthy Further Education and Training Centre & the South East Regional Skills Forum
Wexford TD, Brendan Howlin is also at the event today. He says it's very important for the area
"Something that has been planned and looked for, for decades and finally we have a state of the art school here that'll cater for the hinterland of Adamstown, Clonroche, as far away as Enniscorthy and New Ross.
It's always been a great center of learning here including Adult education.
This new facility will greatly enhance that.
It will allow the teachers that work here to greatly expand their reach and their capacity with facilities that are world class"
