Mini driver busted by police for driving without licence or insurance since 1950

A man in the UK has been found to be driving without a license or insurance for 72 years.

The Mini One driver was pulled over by road police while on patrol on Wednesday, January 26th in Nottinghamshire.

The man, who is now in his 80s, informed police that he had been driving without a licence or insurance since 1950 when he was just 12 (YUP, TWELVE) years of age.

Incredibly, the man confessed that he had never been stopped by police in his 72 years of motoring.

Adding to this extraordinary story was the fact the unlicensed, self-taught motorist has never been involved in a collision.

Taking to Facebook, a stunned Highbury Vale PoliceDue said: "due to the increased number of ANPR cameras in Nottingham, even on the small trips, you are likely to hit a camera, so make sure your documents are in order.....because it will catch up with you.....one day..."
