After a mild few days, the weather is set to significantly change tonight.
Colder weather is coming and the national forecaster, Met Eireann, has warned that sleet and snow is on the way for counties in the South East overnight.
In their latest update, they say that outbreaks of rain will continue across the south of the country tonight. Falls of sleet and snow are possible across the midlands and south.
Frost and ice will form overnight in some areas with lows of -1C.
A Weather Advisory has been issued for icy conditions overnight?
The Advisory is valid from 8pm tonight to 9am tomorrow morning.
