It has been a wet week so far across the region, but things could be about to get worse.

Met Eireann has issued a rainfall warning for Waterford and Tipperary tomorrow with warnings of spot flooding.

The Status Yellow alert is in place from 11am tomorrow until 11am on Friday. Met Eireann warns of 30 to 50mm of rainfall Thursday into Friday. Some high totals will lead to spot flooding.

The alert covers counties Waterford, Tipperary, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.

Meanwhile, Met Eireann has also issued a Status Yellow gale warning for Thursday. South to southeast winds will increase to gale force later tonight and Thursday, on Irish coastal waters, from Mizen Head to Loop Head to Malin Head
