Met Eireann issues National Status Orange Alert for fog

Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange alert for the entire country.

The forecaster warns that dense fog may linger in some parts of the country through much of Monday giving rise to poor visibility and hazardous driving conditions.

The national alert is valid from midnight tonight until midnight tomorrow night.
