Nationwide Marches are taking place today to highlight long waiting lists for medical services for children.
The "March for our Children" will take place in 19 locations across the country, including Waterford, Clonmel and Kilkenny.
The Waterford march will take place from 10AM to 12PM and will go from Waterford Chrystal to the HSE Community Care building on the Cork road.
Paula Dalton is an admin for the march in Waterford.
She explains why the event is taking place.
"It's a peaceful march and what we are trying to do is to get the HSE to listen that enough is enough."
"The waiting lists for services are too long and we are trying to get services improved for children across the country."
"Even if you're not a parent and you're available to come out and march, please do."
"We're asking everyone to come out and march with us."
