A man in Waterford was arrested following a robbery at a car dealership.
The man in his 30s approached staff at the store yesterday afternoon, just after around 4:30pm.
He threatened the workers with a baseball bat while trying to rob keys to a new car.
The man successfully escaped from the scene in the car.

Gardaí were alerted quickly and was arrested shortly after in the area of St. John's Park.
The thief was then held for questioning and was charged.
He appeared before court this morning where he was remanded in custody and is set to appear again later this month.
Gardaí say there were no injuries reported and the vehicle was not damaged during the incident.
