A man has been arrested after a serious assault on another man in Dublin city centre.
Gardaí say the man was attacked with a glass at Dame Lane, just off George's Street in the south inner city late last night.
Gardaí arrested a suspect, who is currently detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.
The scene remains sealed off this morning.
