A man in his 30s has been arrested and one person has been taken to hospital following a two-car collision in Waterford this afternoon.
The incident occurred at the Carrick Road Roundabout on the N25 near Kilmeaden at around 1.30pm.
Emergency services attended the scene and one person was taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment.
A section of the road (N25) was partially closed for a time, but has since reopened.
Tramore Gardaí attended the scene, where one of the drivers was arrested, the man in his 30s was taken to Tramore Garda Station for questioning.
He is now due to appear before Waterford District Court on the 30th November 2021.
