A man in his 70s has died in a farming incident in Co. Waterford this morning, 16th April 2019.
The incident happened at approximately 10 am this morning when the man suffered fatal injuries whilst emptying a septic tank on a farm.
He pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to University Hospital Waterford where a full post-mortem will take place.
The Health and Safety Authority has attended the scene and will conduct an investigation.
