A man has died following a workplace accident in Co Carlow.
The man - who was in his 40s - was injured yesterday afternoon in an industrial accident between Leighlinbridge and Ballinabranna.
He was taken to St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny where he was later pronounced dead.
The Health & Safety Authority has launched an investigation into what happened.
