Police in Canada have reported the tragic death of a man at a McDonald's drive-thru.
The incident occurred in Vancouver in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to police and local media outlets, CCTV from the area shows the driver dropping an object out of his vehicle while paying for his food only for the car to move forwards when he attempted to pick it up.
As the vehicle moved forwards it collided with a part of the restaurant's infrastructure, leaving the motorist pinned between the vehicle and the door frame.

Efforts were made to revive the man, but he died at the scene of the incident.
