A man has died following an incident at a funeral in Co. Kerry.
RTÉ reports that a male was attacked while attending a burial at Rathass Cemetery prior to a funeral at St. John's Church (pictured), on the outskirts of Tralee town shortly before 12 pm on Wednesday, October 5th.
One other individual, reported to be the man's wife, is believed to have been seriously injured in the incident. She is currently receiving treatment at Kerry General Hospital.
The couple is believed to be from the Cork city area.
The cemetery is sealed off and gardaí investigations are at an early stage with members of the force speaking to mourners in attendance.
