Gardai in Waterford along with the Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search of a premises in an estate in the City over the weekend.
During the course of the search approx on Saturday night €21,000 of suspected cocaine was discovered.
A man in his 20's was arrested and detained for possession of drugs for sale and supply.
He was later released pending a file to be prepared and forward to DPP.
