A hillwalker died in the Comeragh Mountains in County Waterford yesterday afternoon.
The 67-year-old man was out with a walking club and emergency services were called when he became unwell.
The coastguard helicopter Rescue 117 was tasked to the area.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and was removed to University Hospital Waterford.
